Building Appalachia is all about helping West Virginians and its small businesses make their mark and get on the map! When Mountaineer Media reached out to us about being a sponsor of their company, we instantly knew it was going to be a perfect fit. CJ invited Jacob and Jordan to a coffee meeting at Starlings Coffee & Provisions in Charleston’s East End District. We sat down for about an hour and discussed the things we love about the great state of West Virginia and what each of our companies are doing to help our communities along with promoting other West Virginia based businesses. Mountaineer Media is 100% down for the cause of helping WV businesses grow and get more exposure through their various social media outlets including the Mountaineer Media Podcast, the Mountaineer Media Facebook page, Mountaineer Media Twitter @MtnrMedia, Mountaineer Media Instagram, and Mountaineer Media LinkedIn. CJ and Cooper are absolutely hilarious on their individual social media pages as well as their company pages. Their TikToks and Reels are definitely worth watching to get a good laugh. On top of that they are constantly bringing famous West Virginians on to their podcast and the interview are amazing!
As we drank our coffee, shared stories, laughed, and made jokes we knew this would be a great partnership. We decided on the spot that we would love to sponsor Mountaineer Media, which essentially means we would donate them money in return for their services including writing blogs for our website, social media shoutouts, hosting us on the Mountaineer Media Podcast Episode #64 which turned out great, and creating video clips and images for us to share on social media. It has been a great partnership thus far. The four of us get along great and support each other’s social media channels by liking, commenting, and sharing one others posts which is huge in getting exposure to people that may not be following you at the moment.
West Virginia is a great place to live, we were all born and raised here. We just want to see the state progress and get proper appreciation for what we do have – hardworking people, amazing nature, great food, and apparently some really good beer according to Cooper and CJ! Building Appalachia is Changing West Virginia for the Better by providing quality housing at a fair price. We want to rebuild homes that have been ran down and revitalize the neighborhoods we grew up in where used to ride our bikes down the streets and play sports in the parks. Once a West Virginian, always a West Virginian. We’re doing our best to be the best and help our own live happy and succeed in their businesses.
